I came here because I needed a parking space for the night in my van and I read that they slow this for customers buying a meal. Had no idea that the menu is vegan. Great idea. I'm not vegan all the time but it's definitely not doing anyone at harm to eat more veg. What an amazing place Beautiful, welcoming, accommodating and helpful. Bloody brilliant. Oh my! Absolutely Incredible. First time at the Queen Inn. And everything was incredible.. The food was amazing. The Trio of Wings is a must Have. The atmosphere and service was fantastic.. It was very Dog Friendly. I cannot say enough good things about this place
We stayed in Cwmbran for 4 nights and dined at The Queen Inn every evening. We booked prior to our trip to avoid disappointment. The meals we tried were the Juicy Marbles filet, vegan lamb vindaloo, Gaucho burger, Caesar burger, lamb kebab loaded chips, Redefined meat flank and the mac and cheese. Every meal was flavourful and well presented. The staff are all so friendly and welcoming. We'll definitely return
Amazing vegan pub, very popular so if you want to eat it's probably best to book. We went twice over the weekend and will definitely be coming back as soon as we can. Amazing roast on a Sunday and such a lot of choice on the main menu it's hard to decide, but whatever you choose you won't be disappointed, everyone around us was loving their meals. Really nice covered outside area too if you're just popping in for a drink. Also super dog friendly, our dogs had sausages in little red dog bowls. They have big water bowls, dog treats and blankets too.
A pub that serves all vegan food. Nice staff. Very good portion sizes. Variety of things on the menu. Clear menu. Nice outdoor seating area. Parking. You can’t go wrong. I’ve just turnt up a few times, luckily it was quiet and I was happy to sit outside, but one of the first things you’re asked if you have a booking. So I reckon they get busy, so book or atleast ring ahead or if you’re going to risk it just know they might not have space for you especially on weekends.
Lovely traditional pub with really welcoming owners. I stayed overnight in my campervan and had Sunday roast the day after. (Owners happy to allow campervans if buying a meal.) I had a relaxing night lulled to sleep by the running water of the adjacent stream. Very quiet after the pub closes. This place is very popular and you’ll likely need to book a table, it was full today. The roast is served in two sittings on Sundays, an extensive menu is available on other days and I’d love to return and try this soon. I had the homemade seitan roast, which came with a good selection of veg, roast potatoes, a Yorkshire pudding and a massive portion of gravy. I couldn’t fit in a pudding, but took away a portion of the lemon cheesecake for my daughter to have and it was scrummy. Finally got to try here and I wasn’t disappointed
Just unbelievable!!! Huge portions, delicious food, lovely staff. Loooooads of outdoor seating, ample parking - and a small water spot with ducks right on site. Cannot believe how tasty the food was, we already can't wait to go back! Pictured is the Chinese Sharer (40) and two desserts - Jaffa Cake and Custard Slice (6 each and big slices!)
Wow!! I’ve wanted to visit for years, and it did not disappoint! From the delightful duck pond outside to the super friendly waitress on arrival, everything was perfect. We wanted to order everything on the menu, so asked for recommendations. The food was delicious! Everything vegan, everything amazing! We ordered a bit too much and had to take some back with us. I highly recommend this beautiful vegan pub. Definitely order the Queen Combo and the lamb kofte!
